Our meeting place for Redrock Canyon Backpacker: Southwestern Utah is in Springdale, Utah. Known as the entryway to Zion National Park, Springdale makes the perfect base camp for you to explore Zion on your own for a few days before or after your adventure with us.

Springdale is serviced by three airports: St. George Municipal airport (SGU) (50 minutes); Las Vegas McCarran Airport (LAS) (2.5 hours); or Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) (4.5 hours). We recommend renting a private vehicle or reserving your space on one of two shuttle transports (listed below). Note that Utah is on Mountain Standard Time (MST) and is one hour ahead of Las Vegas, Nevada (PST).

From Las Vegas, Nevada

Travel options from Las Vegas include:

1. Renting a private vehicle,
2. Flying Skywest Airlines Delta Connection to St. George Municipal Airport (SGU) and renting a vehicle there, or
3. Taking a shuttle from Las Vegas airport to St. George, renting a private vehicle, and driving from there.
