Alpine Fitness Retreat is rated Moderately Difficult due to the amount of exercise we’ll be doing each day. We will be at high elevation, which places greater demands on the cardiovascular system. Biking will occur on both paved and/or unpaved gravel roads while hiking will be on maintained wilderness trails.

Distances: Longest hike is up to 11 miles in one day; longest cycle is up to 30 miles in one day
Surfaces: Unpaved, mostly maintained trails on varying mountainous terrain. Locations may have steep climbs or drop-offs.
Elevation Change: Up to 4,000 ft
Altitude: 5,000 – 12,000 ft
